10 Things You Should Know About Blogging –

  1. You don’t have to have it all figured out to get started.
  2. Pick your blog name wisely, it’s your brand.
  3. Be consistent across social networks. (With your name, logos, and branding.)
  4. People WILL judge you by what your blog looks like.
  5. Slow and steady wins the race. You don’t have to blog daily.
  6. Don’t create and abandon. If you start blogging be sure to follow through.
  7. What you share on the Internet, lives forever. Ever, ever, ever…
  8. Ask lots of questions. It’s a great way to learn, meet people and build a community.
  9. Join a blogging community that fits your style.
  10. What you get out of your blog, and your blogging community or network depends on what you put into them.

    Love these tips! The blogging community has been so important to me because I go through ups & downs in consistency. However, having a supportive group around me has been the key to keeping my interest perked. Great post! 🙂

    Engage with other bloggers on Twitter, FB and Instagram. If you read something you like share it and let the author know! It’s a great way to get more engagement on your SM sites.
