We’ve got another fabulous member for you to meet today! And trust us, you won’t want to miss out on meeting her. Get ready to {Meet} Jenn of Jenn On a Mission!

{Meet} Jenn of Jenn on a Mission

Jenn on a Mission, Jenn Bauguss

1. How long have you been blogging?

I have been blogging for 6 years.

2. What do you blog about?

Everything! – Faith, fitness, DIY, and more… there isn’t much rhyme or reason to my lifestyle blog.

3. Where are you blogging from in NC, and why do you love the area you blog about?

The Piedmont Triad – Winston-Salem/Greensboro/High Point

4. Why did you start blogging?

In 2010, I attended a technology & social media conference called Geekend and I met so many bloggers there that I decided it’d be fun to give it a try.

5. Out of all the posts you’ve written, which one (or two) would you pick as your favorite?

I think Follow The Leader was the first blog post that I wrote and thought “Wow! That’s interesting. Maybe I can be a blogger after all.”

6. What blog(s) do you love?

Three random ones that I enjoy are:

  • TheMagicBrushInc
  • EmilyPFreeman
  • BeautyAndBedlam

7. What’s one piece of advice you’d share with your fellow bloggers?

Don’t try to be perfect… stressing over what to write, when to write it, and how it is written is so not worth it. I have to constantly suppress the perfectionist in me and remind myself to simply blog consistently.

8. What three things do you know to be true?

  1. God is good
  2. Laughter is the best medicine
  3. There is no decent vegan substitution for real cheese

9. Where can we find you on the web?

  • Website:  Jenn on a Mission
  • Facebook:  Jenn on a Mission
  • Twitter: @jennbauguss
  • Instagram: @JennOnAMission & @JennBauguss
  • Pinterest: JennBauguss
  • Youtube: [launching soon… I’ll announce it in a blog post!]

I can also be found handling the marketing and social media for a nonprofit that I started with a friend. It’s called Invest Hope. (investhope.com) We’re an organization created to help break the cycle of poverty by investing hope in the future of Haiti by offering programs like microloans/business skills, school savings, and hope projects for new homes and clean water.

And I’m super excited to be the new Triad Ambassador for this organization!!!

    Welcome Jenn!

What a wonderful blog. I completely agree with you on cheese, there is NO substitute for the real thing!
